Continuation of Connect to Wireless Computer/Notebook Without Access Point Part I

3. We have finished to setup the first computer to connect to "ad hoc" or computer to computer network or what we call "peer to peer". The 3rd step is to do the same to the second computer what we have done to the first one. Remember that THEY MUST have the SAME SSID. If you failed to do that, you can’t connect those computer so it is important that they have same setting specially SSID, plus the data encryption  set to disabled. Once you have done this correctly, the two computer you want to connect should be already connected right now.

Nowadays, wireless has been common especially to our gadgets like notebook, mobile phone and many more! Of course, the wireless gadgets are useless if we can’t connect it to an ACCESS POINT or Router. But are you aware that we can connect two wireless computer without Access Point? Just like in wired connection, if we want to connect it without switch/hub we will just change the crimping orientation, we call it "crossover" in wired network, in wireless it is know  as "ad hoc".

 

CONNECT TWO WIRELESS COMPUTER WITHOUT ACCESS POINT

Here are the step by step on how to configure two wireless computer to connect and build a Wireless and build Wireless Network without Access Point (AP).

Using of wireless connection for every gadget now has been so common and necessary, even our high end mobile phone , digital camera, projector, gaming console and mp3 are now has a capability to connect on wireless network and able to communicate directly on printer, desktop, media center and many more!!!
